e-TRAINing System News
The  e-TRAINing System will be down for about a week after the first of the year for maintenance.  Hopefully I will have the new look finished and at least one new course up by then,  Stay tuned for an online 24 hour EMT refresher for you NREMT types.

Bureau of EMS

Inspection Information:  We had our biennial inspection last month and it was as last year a perfect inspection.  Thanks to all who had a part of this.  This makes two inspections in a row with no deficiencies.

EMSAC Information

The next meeting is in Daytona in late January and it looks like a very busy time given that the meeting have been reduced to 3 per year.  There are several issues which may potentially effect us slated to be discussed, so stay tuned and I will post the results of the meetings in February.

State Working on Critical Care Paramedic Curriculum

FAEMSE has finished the draft framework and given it to the Legislative committee to put in rule form.  We should know something after the January meetings what will become of this.

Grants
We are in the process of applying for matching funds grants for several projects.  These include computer hardware and software for field data entry (ePCR system); an adult and pediatric human patient simulator and a new dispatch system.  Stay tuned for the results of these.
